联想：his=他的；story=故事
连起来就是他的故事，历史是他们创造的（他们是男性，纵观人类发展历程，历史主要是由男性创造的）。他们也可以认为是英雄，所以历史是英雄创造的，我们为什么知道他们是英雄，因为他们有太多的故事。
所以：他们的故事，其实就是他们所经历过的历史，走过的历史故事。
末尾的ical是形容词词尾，表示历史的，与历史有关的。
